Basic Frist Aid
- Understanding the laws of first aid
- Basic human anatomy
- Providing cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR) to infants and children
- Providing cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR) to adult
- Understanding potential hazards in the work environment
- Understanding potential hazards in home environment
- Identifying potential poisons at work
- Identifying potential poisons at home
- knowing what first aid is required for different types of injuries (burn, cut, bleed, fracture, insect bite…)
- Treating wounds and stopping bleeding
- Using the correct equipment and safety precautions when administering first aid
- Keeping records of incidents
